Rafa's embarrassing accident at awards ceremony

Rafa Nadal was on the verge of losing his pants during the awards ceremony which Mallorcan Government made as a tribute to the Balearic Islands' Olympic medal winners!

The world number one was honored along with other athletes for winning medals in Beijing, when he broke with protocol to note that his trousers had been cracked.

When he climb to the stage in the company of the other islands medalists in Beijing, basketball player Rudy Fernandez and cyclists Toni and Joan Taules Llanera, Rafa, dressed in a suit for the occasion, took his hand at the rear to realize that the pants were torn!

Covering his dignity by tying his jacket around his waist, the new Olympic tennis champion at least seemed able to share the joke.

But that was not all...when he took off his jacket, he left uncovered a huge slick of sweat across his chest! But the Hispanic media stood in his defense saying that the night had been especially hot in the Castell Bellver.


And Rafa was in a good mood with a smile on his face and he joked about it, so the moment was saved!
