I'm glad that Rafael Nadal-Nicolas Almagro match ended quickly before I got the chance to write something preposterous, like "Rafa's going to have to be careful. Nic's won two titles on the dirt this year and is playing great here. He might be able to make Nadal do some work."

While I was thinking all of that up, Nadal did away with his childhood chum, 6-1, 6-1, 6-1. So, in his last two matches, he's given up six(!) games. That would be scary if he were playing in the juniors draw. To do that to top-25 ATP players is pretty much frightening.

Hey Mark, same here. It's too late to back out for us now!

And you're right, OneLuv, these three really put on some great shows against each other. They're all ultra-talented, and whenever you get some extra drama thrown in the mix, all the better!

You're telling me... I can't wait! Djokovic will be after Nadal for that #2 spot and right now I watch Nadal play and it is just amazing how easy he makes things look on clay. Again, it's like he stepped it up another gear just for the French. Now if by some chance Nole gets passed Nadal, a Federer Nole match will be exciting too. There is a little thing brewing between those two since Nole has made those comments after the Aussie Open and that outburst from Federer towards Nole's parents during Monte Carlo. Hey! All I can say is men's tennis is getting good and it keeps me glued to the TV to see what happens next.

Sounds like my thinking, but I'm starting to have second thoughts that anyone can beat Rafa with the way he is playing. BUT I'll stand by my pick - Fed, somehow.....

Hey OneLuv. I've been thinking Federer from the start, especially with Nadal and Djokovic on tap to play each other. I figured those two would soften each other up and Roger would be the beneficiary. That Nadal-Djokovic match should be a great one!

Van, what are your thoughts? You think this is another French for Nadal or does Federer or Djokovic stand a chance? IMO Nadal really makes it so that he picks up his game this time of year. Granted the last two years has been a Nadal Federer final Djokovic is a formidable threat.
