I went to the US Open yesterday with Mike S from the Brooklyn Tennisopolis group.

He had a extra Day Session ticket available, so we made a day out of it.



We saw Nikolay Davydenko vs Dudi Sela and also Jo-Wilfried Tsonga vs Santiago Ventura.

I think Ventura is someone to keep your eye on.

The sun was pretty intense in the stands. We could only watch a set from each match before had to scramble for shade.

Bought tickets for the open a few weeks ago. Tried to get finals tixs, but they were sold out.
If there are no major rain delays, I should be watching the Women's semifinal and the Men 's quarterfinals. If you haven't been out there, your missing a great show.

Whew......It's hot. Too hot for Tennis in Brooklyn.

Well, maybe the time off the courts will help my tennis elbow heal.

Played with 2 members of the Brooklyn Tennisopolis group yesterday. My legs are tired, but the weather was great for playing. Hope to see more of you guys out on the courts this summer.

Ugh. Too much rain this week. I'm itching to play some tennis.
When the weather breaks, I would love to play with anyone who's free during the work day.

Hey Brooklyn Tennis,

I just played outside for the first time this season.
I played with Mike from the group.
We both had a good time, and we evenly matched.

FYI- If anyone in the group has a flexible schedule like I have, I am available to play most weekdays

I can't wait until this winter in NYC is over.
I plan to start playing tennis as soon as the temperature is in the 50's.
