Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I've been playing for 20years,but not in the last 6 months.Still recooperating from hip surgery,but raring to go.I've been practicing alone,but now looking for a hitting partner.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Agassi,Seles,J.McEnroe
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Not bad., Do not know my rating., If tennis is on TV - I am watching.
I am a casual tennis player, on the mediocre side of intermediate in ability (probably somewhat less than 3.5 in singles play). I would like to find someone (on the Westside of Los Angeles, or in Santa Monica) with whom to hit/play tennis on Saturdays or Sundays. I live in the Mar Vista section of L.A. (having moved from New York in November 2009). I prefer singles, but will also play doubles (but my ability is REALLY mediocre in doubles; I am probably more like a 3.0 in doubles). If perhaps interested, then call me at 845-628-4709.

Welcome to the fun and infectious "community-based" tennis website which connects players, fans, coaches and pros.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
