Several years ago I was a decent player 4.5 most days and in a blue moon 5.0 A torn ACL, weight gain and frustration with playing against people that love cheating on line calls distanced me from the game that I came to love so much as a kid.

So at this point, I am just looking for people to hit with. i am not interested in playing sets or matches at this point. So I may not be a good candidate for some. I graduated H.S. in 1979 and played 2 years of D-2 NCAA tennis. But that was another lifetime ago. Real wood. AMF Guillermo Vilas and a Bancroft Borg were two of the rackets that I used as a kid..No...Even though I am old as dirt, I do not play with a mini racket.

So I am looking to ease back into the game. I have not played in 6 years, so I have no idea what to expect on my end. So if you are a beginner, I may be your partner for hitting. If you are a 5.0 player, I can still most likely hit forehands and backhands halfway OK.

Favorite pro tennis player(s):

Back in the Day it was Borg.
Then it became McEnroe.
Conners followed.
I think that Conners was the last player that I would classify as a favorite player.
Stephan Edberg was also a favorite of mine
