Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: I'm a beginner who wants to learn the sport. I played around with tennis briefly in college for a few months; basically learning to hit the ball and sparring back and forth with a friend. It was fun, but since I've been out of college, I haven't met anyone to play with. Just looking for someone who doesn't mind helping an enthusiastic novice learn to playthe game.

Favorite pro tennis player(s):: As indicated, I'm not a huge fan of tennis. I will watch a match if I'm channel surfing and happen to come across one, but I can't say I keep up with the league or players.
