Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I'm about a level 1.5. Very new to the sport but have always loved to watch the game. Live in Burnaby right now and would like to play people in the same skill group. I'm still learning to serve and would be lucky to keep the ball in play.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Kimiko Date, Jennifer Capriati, Pete Samprass, Michael Chang, Justin Henin.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Just started., What's NTRP?, Don't know my what my rating is., If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.

It's great to have you here! We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members. We launched Tennisopolis just two weeks ago, so you are a charter member. :-)
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, look thru the Groups, join the new Vancouver Players or create a Burnaby Group and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle. We will also promote your group so that it continues to grow.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
To get started, you can personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
You can also:
- talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries
- join or start a group
