Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Just moved to Palm Springs/Palm Desert and want to play tennis at least once or twice a week. Play with a great group on Monday mornings but not in the summer. I've been playing at least 2Xweek for the last 7 years but I've only gotten better since I've been out here, a 3 or 3.5 player. Looking for a group of friends to socalize with. I'm 50+ or so I have to remind myself, have two dogs and so far, really like the desert! Lots of great things to do and great people too. 2nd year volunteering at the BNP Paribas Open and have had great times and met lots of known players and wonderful people.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Who knows? I think Nadal is HOT.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. It’s is a fantastic place to get tips for your game, chat about the latest gear, and especially, talk about the pros.
Other places to explore:
- post youtube videos.
- add your own photos.
- write your own blog entries.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
