Neighborhood or other helpful location info:: North of HWY24 at the west end of town (Lafayette reservoir)

Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: Older tennis beginner, would like to play for the fun and enjoyment of it. I should note that I had a sports injury years ago that eventually resulted in 2 back surgeries.... So, though I am slowed because of the surgeries, I still would like to play for enjoyment only at this point. Let's see how it goes.

Favorite pro tennis player(s):: Sampras (all time best...I think), Jimmy Connors (stayed relevant on the international scene until around 40!), John McEnroe (attitude/entertainment value), Agassi (didn't quit and overcame his mental block to finally win majors), For women: Chris Evert and Martina Hingis and Serena Williams and many more...

My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):: Beginner, Just a fan

On the court, I am a:: rightie, hacker, watcher, singles player, beginner, gracious winner, gracious loser

My favorite local courts:: Any courts in LaMOrinda or Walnut Creek or even Alamo/Danville down to Pleasanton are all fine.
