Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I am a 3.5 player but want to get better. I want to play regularly. I tend to get competitive but not agressive. I also enjoy golf. Love to spend time outdoors biking, picnics, cafe's etc.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Roger Frederer (currently), Ivan Lendl (all time)
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
I live right by lakeshore Drive in Lakeview which is about 5 mins away from the courts that you mentioned. I am pretty much the same level as you and hoping to get a lot better this summer. So, definitely get back to me if you're still interested in hitting balls 2 or 3 times a a week and more if you're up for it.
Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that fortunately,is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.… and just hang out and meet great people.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, search through the Groups, look at our Local Groups Map or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
