sounds like we have somewhat similar tennis history. I played from my late teens to my 40s.Funny story is kid I grew up played tennis in HS, gave me a racket and then I went off to serve in USN. Brothers saw racket assumed I played and two went on to be tennis stars of sorts, me I did not pick it up til years later. Played alot, in some cases almost every day, through my 20s up to 30ish. Lots of singles and doubles. Played at VB Racket Club for a number of years, mens nights and some mixed doubles. WOrk consipitred to make this more difficult and I suppose I just got lazy. I suspect now fat and slower it may be harder but...I want to see if my blistering forehand can be given new life. :) I used to be able to thread the needle with my forehand...I suppose too many years ago, I live in Lagomar, which is last neighborhood on your way out to Sandbridge and Pungo. There are some nice public hardsurface courts within walking distance of my house. Often vacant except for Sat mornings and a few evenings but always a court open I think. Not sure where you live but drop me a line when you want to go just hit, since it will have been awhile since I did that it might be interesting but I should be able to get strokes back up and workign I think in short order. I am 58 now so go easy on me until I start hitting em back hard. :) Rich
