good luck with your knee recovery!  was it your ACL?  i had full reconstructive surgery last year but am on the court now playing doubles...so with good rehab, you should be back on the court in no time!!

Ouch. That's not good. Hope you're recovery is speedy. If and when you're ready to just hit, let me know.

Hello Steph -- just introducing myself -- Tony Daysog -- looking to hit around just for fun -- emphasis on fun -- not good at competition!! Oh, I dunno -- intermediate? -- slightly less than intermediate? -- If interested, lemme know. (Oh . . . I see yer a 5.0 -- I'm no where near that at all) All the best -- Tony

Hi Steph,

Would you be interested in hitting some tennis this weekend?
I played in Alameda a few times at the Washington Park courts.
I am in Berkeley, and I am 4.5 player.
Cheers!

The US Open is already here, so NOW is the time to come make your picks in the US Open Bracket Challenge sponsored by Avery Tennis.

Little known facts:
1. It's free.
2. It's fun.
3. The Grand Prize is a new Avery M3 Control racquet.
4. Do I need any more reasons?
5. It's more fun to follow the tourney when you have points at stake.
6. Bragging rights.
7. OK, I'm all out...

Come fill in your bracket, more info here.

Hi STEPH! It's great to have you here!
This is our *new* generic welcome message that fortunately,is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

Welcome aboard,
Mark

Yes, please. Several of us will be at Canada College at noon on Saturday. We have very little organization. It's really just whatever you like and if anyone else wants to play that style. If you like singles, I'm up for that. We play alot of doubles, too, and just hit around if there's court space for all of us. Most of us don't know each other very well, either, so no need to feel like an outsider. Just come out and we'll have some fun.
