Hi Stan.
I'm glad that your computer and Tennisopolis are now in harmony. I appreciate you making Tennisopolis a fun and active place. Keep posting your events in here. I know you run a meetup.com group and that's great. I don't mind you collecting members from your own group here, as long as people still use your group here on Tennisopolis. So thanks for using it here too.

To send a message to your entire group, there is a link toward the top left of the group page, you'll see it. Any chance of using Tennisopolis solely and dropping meetup.com alltogether? :-)

Hi. We created an Avatar Grab Bag where you can get an image for your picture. Here's how to do it:
1. Go to the Grab Bag.
2. Choose a pic, click on the thumbnail, then right click on the image and "save picture as" and save it to your computer.
3. Click Change My Photo below the gray head image to the left.
4. Click the photo graphic and choose "upload from my computer".

That should do it. If anyone has any questions, just send me a message. (Or, if you want to be truly unique, do the same thing with any photo you find on the web.)

Hi Stan, looks like your group is growing nicely. Can you do 2 things for me? Can you put a pic up for the group (and for your own avatar for that matter ;-) ) and I was wondering if "philadelphia" was intentionally left un-capitolized in the group title.

Thanks and congrats on an active group!

Hi Stan!

It's great to have a teaching pro here! You may want to create a Philly Group and invite all your tennis contacts/ students. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Tennisopolis is also a great place to meet people all accross the country and talk about this game we love. We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members. We launched Tennisopolis just a week ago, so you are a charter member. :-)

First things first, invite your tennis friends!

To get started, you can personalize your profile page with your picture or an avatar here. You can also add info about your techniques, rates, contact info, logos, etc.

You can also:
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries
- talk tennis in the forum
- join or start a group

…and just hang out and meet great people.

Welcome aboard,
Mark
