Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: I'm originally from Hawaii, liberal, goofy, ex-Army, and a traveling fool. I just moved to N. Portland from Phoenix, AZ. I've been all over the US and traveled through Europe after my stint in the Army. I want to make Portland my home so I'd like to find people with similar interests, like tennis, to meet.

My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):: Not bad., NTRP 2.5, NTRP 3.0, If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.

I've been to Japan (have connections) and have relatives in Hawaii. If you want to hit some balls at each other and play a set let me know. I live close in SE in the Hawthorne area but I can travel. Washington Park in the West Hills is a beautiful spot midway to all directions. By the way, this weekend is the Nike Oregon Tennis Championship at Tualatin Hill Recreation Center. The finals are this Sunday morning. Top level college players and teaching pros enter from Canada and the Northwest. You can watch for free in close in seats in a new outside tennis arena.
