I'd love to be out playing more than once a week. Singles would be great, but I am open -- doubles, mixed double, fill is if needed. I should be hitting about a 4.5 but can hit with anyone. Anytime…Continue

Mark Ghaly said… Hey, i played in college and pick it back up quickly. Would love to hit. I live just accross from the Garfield Park courts in South Pasadena. Can play most any evening and with lights at the courts can also play a night (8:30 or 9pm) . Let me know if that would ever work. Thanks.
Rock, this is going out only to my friends on Tennisopolis. I'm trying to build some buzz on facebook for Tennisopolis. I couldn't think of anything extremely clever, so I figured giving away cool stuff always works! I need your help today; To enter, just LIKE the post our our fb page. And stay tuned, we're going to be having more giveways on fb in the near future.
Here's the link to the Verdasco autograph:

Larry said… Good playing today, and forgive me my ignorance. To quote the source of all information, Wikipedia:
"There is no obvious single source for the plot of The Tempest, but researchers have seen parallels in Erasmus's Naufragium, Peter Martyr's De orbo novo, and an eyewitness report by William Strachey of the real-life shipwreck of the Sea Venture on the islands of Bermuda."

Larry said… Hi -
glad that tomorrow will work. no code necessary. Here is a map -
http://www.calstatela.edu/academic/ccoe/help_maps_csula.htm
the courts are in the lower right hand side, and there is a parking lot (lot 11) next to them -- it's 2 or 3 dollars.
I'll be on a blue scooter. my cell is 323-447-7436. Is your cell still 626-319-2910?
Larry said… So Pas courts are OK, just have to be sure there aren't any classes on the weekends.
Really - Cal State is the best. Have you ever played there? And can you play tomorrow at 9?
Larry said… Hi Rock -
How about Sunday morning at 9? I will come up to Arroyo Seco if you can get a court for 90 minutes. If you can't, I recommend Cal State LA, since there are usually courts available. You never know with Orange Grove or Garfield. Let me know if that works for you.
Larry said… Hi,
My regular partner is away this weekend, and I'm looking to play either Sat or Sun - we can rally or play sets, it doesn't matter to me. Let me know if you're available.
