Some people wait for the ball and have a habit of slicing the volley which can give you undesired spin and slow down the pace of the volley. Having a firm grip and taking the volley…"

I grip the racket like you grip and hammer. It will feel strange at first but, the hammer grip will give you great controll because its natural. Hope this helps."

- Robert,
I will actually be in town the 21st - 23rd. My free time for tennis will be on the 21st, Monday from 6am - 3:30pm (first part for my conference starts at 4:30pm that night.) I do not have room to pack my racket BUT I can pack my shoes. Always love to play when I travel. I've played on the courts behind the RIviera Hotel & Casino and their pretty good. I will be staying at the Sahara this time around.
