Robert, I'm a solid 4.5 player looking to hit singles.  I typically play at Calabasas Tennis and Swim or the free courts on Kittridge in West Hills.  Please contact me should you be interested in playing.  Thanks.  Peter

Hi Robert,

It would be great to play a match. I am a solid 4.0 player and live in Sherman Oaks.

The best time for me to play is after 6:00 on weekday nights and on the weekend. When would be best for you? Please let me know.

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

What can you do here?
At Tennisopolis, you can:
- meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
- join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
- follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
- improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
- post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
- add your own Photos.
- and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 7800 members and we're growing by 100 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

Robert, I am a coordinator of a group of doubles players that play each Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks courts at Huston St. and Tyrone Ave. We have 11 players tomorrow (Sat. 6/28) and need another player. You would be welcome to join us tomorrow morning or another time. We have a website ( that explains our 3 groups: the one in Sherman Oaks, a group at Poinsettia courts in WeHo, and a Wednesday night group at Balboa Park. If you go to the website and click on the FAQ link, you will get an explanation of how our groups are set up. If you get this in time and would like to play in the morning, give me a call at 818-990-0552 or write me at If you call and I'm not in, please leave a number where I can reach you.
