Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
A young 42, like to keep very active with tennis being one activity (love biking a LOT, golf, range shooting, inline skating, ice-skating/hockey are a PASSION) - I'm a natural musician and an un-natural athlete who makes up in enthusiasm that which he lacks in talent. Oh, and I have two great black labs who are the best buddies ever, for what that's worth. I'm post-grad educated and work as a statistical analyst and I fully know that stats was your WORST class in college so I promise not to talk about it.
Looking for people to be active with as tennis/biking/skating etc. isn't my wife's cup of tea. Just looking for friends of either sex, who like doing stuff outdoors. Tennis is extremely difficult by one self - I find my serves difficult to return, what with the ball speed and that whole..uh...time/space continuum, there. If you want to share in other activities (like biking, maybe?) that's awesome. Also, while I've never tried "beer", the word has a refreshing sound to it, and I may want to taste this thing the kids are all raving about.
Admittedly, I tend to enjoy doing these kind of activities a bit more with the ladies, mainly because, dude...you're 35 and you're a project manager, OK? There's no [insert sports here] scouts checking out "your game"...it's over, man, just have fun. And please don't take that to mean anything - just lookin' for tennis players/friends with a cool attitude and working knowledge of defibrillators.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Bjorn Borg
Roger Federer
That one guy, who plays really good...yeah, him.
Martina Hingis (what...?)
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
I'm getting there., What's NTRP?, Don't know my what my rating is.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, search through the Groups, look at our Local Groups Map or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
