Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I'm a purple-headed, pierced & tattooed fashion designer that definitely doesn't look the part of a 3.5, doubles league player. I once was accused of unfairly "distracting" my opponent with "all those crazy colors on her arms & that thing in her lip". Granted that was when I was living in San Diego playing on a league that regularly had matches with the 50+ crowd ...
Since I moved to Oakland over a year ago, I have only played a handful of times and I'm looking to fix that. I'd like to get a regular doubles game going and possibly start playing tournaments again. I loved being on a league and if my schedule allows I'd happily join one.
I'm looking for someone to hit with weekday mornings/early afternoon to get my rusty skills back up to par. I enjoy singles, but prefer doubles, so if you need a 4th let me know! I'm competitive but love to laugh and have fun on the court.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
I'll never give up my elementary school crush on Andre Agassi
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Still trying to find one. I loved the San Pablo Park Courts when I lived in Berkeley, but traffic is a killer getting over there in the morning from where I am in Oakland.
