Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Hello, my name is Michael , and I live in midtown Atlanta Georgia. I am looking to get back into the game of tennis but have no friends who play. I'm not sure what my rating would be but after reading a description of them I would have to say i'm guessing I'm in the 4.0 area. I'm just a bit rusty, need consistancy in my game. I'm not at all that comfortable with doubles play, but would like to learn. I'm available evenings to play. Thanks for reading.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
I don't much follow it on tv, I have basic cable, so I don't get to see it often, but it used to be mostly womens tennis, Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Jennifer Caprioti.....
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Not bad., Don't know my what my rating is., If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
I'm also looking for a hitting partner whose not far from me. I've got two courts at my appartment complex and there are four more nearby at peachtree hills park. And, I just starting getting in it again after a long time. I'm probably a 3.5, but got great potential. Come drop me a line, if you're still looking.
Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
