- I have played for 41 years, including some league play in the 1990s then took a hiatus since then. I love to watch most all sports, love to watch tennis, want to instill the love of tennis in my 9-year-old daughter and am a librarian. As a child in the early 70s, I was a ball girl for Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King, Evonne Goolagong, Virginia Wade and many other women players at the Akron Tennis Open, played in Goodyear Hall. I was a teaching pro in the 1980s in Akron, Ohio and the D.C. area.
