Sorry for not getting back to you, I went down to seattle yesterday ...
Are you interested in playing this week ? I am not sure what time you finish work, but I can play tuesday early and anytime thursday.
Let me know, today I have a hockey game at 7, so its pretty much out.

Oops I inadvertently put a strike through my previous message but it did read I am available to play evenings Monday and Thursday and anytime Saturday and Sunday. I play hockey at 8 rinks Saturday morning so the afternoon is good. I usually play at Burnaby Tennis club or Coquitlam Tennis club but am not a member at either place. I may join either place if I can find a mens team or regular playing partners. Last summer I mostly practiced with a local pro, we would just do drills for an hour or so 3 or 4 times a week and then enter the odd tourney.
BTW what kind of player are you server and volley or baseliner ?
hi,
I am available to play monday and thursday evenings as well as on the weekends. Maybe we can get together at Burnaby Tennis Club if we can get some decent weather.
Mark, I can make it tomorrow (Thursday) after 6pm, not on weekends at least temporary. There are 2 nice courts on an elementary school on Imperial street and Waverley street, you can see it from Imperial street when you face north. Sorry I don't know the name of the school or the exact address. I am an old man without much stamina. So take it easy. I'll look for your email tomorrow. jchao@telus.net
or you can come down to the east end if you want Nanaimo/2nd (1 block west of Nanaimo street). Otherwise we'll make it sometime next week.
This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
