Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: Learning tennis and practicing with as many different people on as many different courts possible is a goal of mine. Trying to convince higher rated players that playing with a lower ranked person is a GOOD thing! (Hey, I get that it's a bit boring, but it isn't like the southern tier's tennis club is growing. You need to train new blood to beat in the future!)

Favorite pro tennis player(s):: I'm too busy learning and playing to become a real fan (or stalker) - Unless they want to take pity on a new soul and rally with me, then all of the ATP players are my favorite pros! I go to the local Binghamton Challenger tournament, but there aren't any "real pros" there. (Players ranked 113 or so?)

My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):: Getting there, Just started, NTRP 2.5, If tennis is on TV - I am watching

On the court, I am a:: rightie, doubles partner, singles player, beginner, gracious loser

Two things -

Depending on how long you are in town for, the Weston Racquet club is great for beginners. It's expensive but they have LOTS of clinics (maybe 30 per week?)

I've hardly played at all this year but might be able to do around lunch Wed. Let me know.
