Just joined Tennisoplis. I am a player/coach. I noticed you're interested in some lessons? Let me know, I do teach, and my rates are reasonable. Email me at: tennisdude@ymail.com
Hi!
Interest in tennis is one of the most rewarding ventures that you will ever begin! Start with a few lessons from an accomplished player/teaching pro in your area, private lessons being more expensive but best to begin with. You could then have some basics and then join group lessons at your neighborhood tennis club. Really with your age, physic, enthusiasm & athleticism, only a few lessons will get you playing well in nothing flat!!!!
You'll next should look to join U.S.T.A. (United States Tennis Assc.)
and they will have area teams of your playing level for you to compete in - don't freak out at this - it's tennis players having great fun from 19 yrs.old & up, playing, socializing and you might have a beer or two after your matches.
Look for Profession Tournaments in CA. so that you can get a close-up look and even the feel of the players power just to ad to the excite-
ment of of a great sport that you can play for a lifetime. It's YOUR SERVE!
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 17,000 members and we're growing by 80 new members a day. Invite yours too!
