Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I'm hoping to move out to San Diego in April. I live in Breckenridge, Colorado at the moment--ski bumming and biding my time until word on grad schools come through. I've applied to various masters of social work programs in southern california and am looking forward to more days in the sun. I've just returned from the Peace Corps where I served in a small island nation in the South Pacific. I took scattered tennis lessons as a child and always loved it--thus, am looking to learn more and find fun and flexible people to play with.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
They do offer lesson. Jeff is the head pro and runs the pro shop with his wife. You will LOVE San Diego ! We left because by son is approaching the teens years (12 right now), and we felt the value system here in North Carolina would be better for that time in his life. That said, San Diego is a paradis even with the growth it has seen: best weather in the world. I hope you enjoy it !
Hi Karen !
I lived in San Diego for 24 years and recently moved to North Carolina. If you are looking for tennis, you have to hang out at Morely Field in Balboa park! You can just go there and get a game at any level any time of day. There are about 30 lighted courts, a pro shop and snack bar. Memebership is about $130 per year. You won't find a better place in the country to play and meet other players.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. It’s is a fantastic place to get tips for your game, chat about the latest gear, and especially, talk about the pros.
Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
