Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
When I play it is not competitive, just for fun and exercise. I own a business, so I try to make time when ever I can to play. Because I make my own hours, I can schedule some unconventional times to play. If you are a beginner and looking for a game to give you more practice contact me.
Also, I am having problems with my picture. Apparently it is cropped to focus on my chest, and I can't change it or delete it. It's not the way the picture looks on my computer.
I will try to make time to fix it soon, any help is appreciated. This is not how I want to present myself to people I don't know.
It's Summer, so hope you can enjoy the weather.

It's the most convenient one. The one closest to my place is at Independence Park by Hamlin and Irving Park. I will bike to others though. There are some nice ones on Randolph by the Tasting Room.
As I beginner, I appreciate ones that are not crowded.

Hi Julie, I just noticed your note regarding your profile image. I think the program crops images so each ends up 183x183 pixels... not sure what the criteria is for where it crops but normally its from the cnter of the original image. I suggesttrying to crop your orig yourself so you can center your image....and possibly resize your image yourself so its closer to 183x183... if you need help, feel free to e-mail me your image if you would need help.... rwacincy@yahoo.com

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
