Hey,I'm looking for a game this memorial weekend. I'm available Saturday, Sunday, Monday. I usually play on 47th and Spruce, or I could play on 26th and pine. I'm a little limited since I don't have a car for the weekend.Let me know!JonasSee More
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, but are you still up for playing? I'm looking for someone to play with over the weekend. I usually play at 47th and Spruce, but I suppose I could get over to 8th and poplar if that works…"
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Moved to Philadelphia from Sweden in 2007. I've played a lot of tennis growing up, but only with friends, never organized in a club, or with a coach.
After reading the NTRP ranking system, I'd say I'm a 4.0, but perhaps need to brush up a little, since it's been a while.
I live in University City, and prefer playing around that area, though I could occationaly drive else where.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Stefan Edberg. I don't really follow tennis that closely anymore, but back when I used to, Edberg was king. I liked Pete Sampras too, and I think Federer seems like a nice guy. Björn Borg would probably have been the best ever if he hadn't retired at the age of 25....
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
I'm new to the area and looking for people to hit with. I used to be pretty good, but now I'm just looking to meet people and run around the court a bit. Hit me back on here or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wanna play sometime.
Also, I am self-employed so my schedule is very flexible.
I live in University city as well.
I saw that you live in University City, and thought I'd drop you a line.
Vince here. I live on 23rd and Spurce and play at the 26th and Pine courts and also University of Penn courts. I work 8a-4p and can play around 6pm on weekdays, and on the weekends anytime really. Drop a line if you'd like to hit.
Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.
You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
