Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
What's up everyone? My name's Jon and I saw a posting on Craigslist for Tennisopolis so I thought I'd check it out. I'm a cellular therapy technologist at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. I'd played tennis year round since the 6th grade and played in the state tournament in 2001 for division 1 doubles. I hit occasionally while in college, but I'm nowhere close to where I used to be. I used to be pretty competitive, but now I mostly play just for fun. I'll play with anyone of any skill level. I used to teach children's tennis during summers while in high school, but I prefer playing with someone who's actually larger than the racquet! If you're ever looking for someone to hit with let me know!
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Hi Jon, I am very new to tennis but am very athletic and played vball in college for 4 years. I just haven't been able to quit keep the ball inside the court. I was wondering if you may be interested in hitting some balls around. I live in Colerain and am willing to meet wherever to play. My email address is d_spike6@yahoo.com and if you want a more challenging player i understand!!!!

Welcome to the fun and infectious "community-based" tennis website which connects players, fans, coaches and pros.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
