Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Last season was the first time in almost 15 years I had picked up a racket, so I'll admit to some irregularity in my shots, but I have fun playing anyway. I'd love to get a regular game going with someone in the area (UDC is my home court, though I work in Dupont).
I'm 27, love to read and travel. People know to expect great food and wine at my place as I have become a fan of cooking all things (except fish). I live alone with my cat, Stoli, who was aptly named by my Ukrainian friend when we were out one night.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Not bad., I'm getting there., Don't know my what my rating is.
On the court, I am a:
singles player, gracious loser
Relationship status:
Single

Hi Jennifer, thanks for your comment. I can play evenings or weekends (although not tomorrow, July 20). I'm on the hill - don't know of any courts there but could do the ones in Dupont (21st and N?) or by the Van Ness metro stop or others that are metro accessible. Thanks, James
Am new to town and looking for someone to hit with. I live near Dupont and would love to play. I have a strange work schedule and am often free during the week. If you are interested let me know.

Hi Jennifer. Would you be interested in playing sometime in the morning (say around 9 o'clock) this weekend? UDC, Dupont, or any of the NW red line stops are fine with me. You can reach me at 610-905-3896 or jeremylavine@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you!
Hi! It's great to have you here! This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
