Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I went out for my high school team my senior year, having never picked up a racket before that. After HS, I hardly ever played, but I really got into playing tennis about a year ago and I'm a 3.0 player now, but still getting better. It would be awesome to find some hitting partners on here, of equal or greater skill than me. Because if I had it my way, I'd play tennis every day.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Roger Federer
Andy Murray
James Blake
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
NTRP 3.0, If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
My favorite local courts:
1. Pleasant Street near Bridge Street, Watertown MA
2. Warren playground, Brookline MA
Are you interested in playing sometime? I live in South Boston and work in Cambridge - I can play in the Cambridge/Boston area, as long as its T-accessible. Let me know.
Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 13,000 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!
