Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: I absolutely adore tennis: playing, watching, going to tournaments, you name it. I played in high school, not so much in college, and now I'm trying to get back on the court on the weekends or after work.

My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):: Not bad., NTRP 3.0, If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.

I grew up in Lowell, IN. A small town a little south of Gary. Went to college at IU in Bloomington. I usually play at the Tyson courts located where Cumberland turns into Kingston. They're really nice courts but they charge five bucks to play there. I realize that isn't much but it really bugs me that a public court would charge the public to play on a court built and maintained with public tax money. You know of any good places to play? I've only been in Knoxville for two months.

well..though i loved tennis as a kid,(i absolutely luv steffi graf ;)) i basically got to hold a tennis racquet for the first time just two years ago!...that b'coz i used to be in Kuwait and India and barely anyone play tennis there..
i think, i play pretty ok for a beginner...are there public courts in Knoxville, where ppl would come to play...none of my friends here play tennis ;)
