Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I am looking to find some people in the San Diego south bay area that can hit well with power and consistency. I have played tennis pretty much all my life but never really competitively. I am currently starting to participate in leagues and tournaments and would like to find higher level competition.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
The top three players are all great in their own way. Time may tell who is truely the best but when federer is on, there is no one who can beat him.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):

1. It's free.
2. It's fun.
3. The Grand Prize is a new Avery M3 Control racquet.
4. Do I need any more reasons?
5. It's more fun to follow the tourney when you have points at stake.
6. Bragging rights.
7. OK, I'm all out...
Since you are a physical therapist I thought I'd ask...lately after playing tennis (after not playing much for several years) I am getting a lot of pain in what I think is the sciatic nerve. I didn't used to get this when I was younger (high school age) but then again I played everyday. To help alleviate the pain I have used Ben Gay, which helps a little, but often after a match it even hurts to walk. Anything you can recommend?
Hola...glad you made it out today for some quality hits. Yeah, my group is a lot of fun. Do try and make it out after work on Mon/Wed at UCSD North team courts next week. (Blake, Casey, Richie, Andy, Conor, Chester, Jimmy, Mason and I should be there)...a good workout. Cheers, KB
Hi Dan! It's great to have you here!
I see you already joined a Group – fantastic - introduce yourself in there to meet people for matches.
Please Invite your buddies. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

Welcome to the fun and infectious "community-based" tennis website which connects players, fans, coaches and pros.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
Hey Dan, Katie here. If you want to hit after work today over at my club in PQ, just let me know. I will be on court # 8 at 6pm and can give you directions. I am also playing tomorrow with some other tennis regulars in my group on Sat, over at the Clairemont HS courts which may be closer to you. (12 or so solid regulars) Email me on my AOL address at bolanderk@aol.com if interested. My next tournie is down in PB on April 4th. Lates, KB
