Tennis Fan, Casual Player, Tournament or League Player
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Just moved here in January after being stationed at Fort Bliss. Played tennis all my life back in Ocean City, New Jersey. Was team Captain and MVP in high school and on the all south jersey team. Looking to play just whenever possible. Preferably a doubles player who would be looking for a good partner to organize some matches. Enjoy playing singles also though. After high school didn't play a ton of tennis while going to college and living in Philadelphia, but played some soccer. After graduating continued to play tennis here and there but mainly played Rugby for 3 years. A few concussions later, I'm back to tennis full time.
Pros: Speed, Net Play
Cons: Long Rallying
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Andy Roddick
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
just wanted to let you know that Tennis West club on the westside has opened up its courts on the weekends so non-members can play on the 4 challenge courts 8am-noon. Format is doubles , you should be 3.5 level minimum and you just hang your raquet on the fence; losers step off court; winners stay and split. Give it a try; lots of fun and you can meet plenty of players ( for men and women )
