Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I am a competitive volleyball player, my team, the Lackland Warhawks qualified and is going to USAV Nationals this May in the BB division. I am a defensive specialist, but will play weak side hitter at Nationals. When it is done, I want to play tennis again. Played soccer collegiately. I am a teacher, and former soccer and volleyball coach. When I went to middle school, I coached tennis because noone wanted the job. My kids did real well, one is a SR this year at Warren-doubles, and I have a few at Taft, one is a SR at Jay #1 singles and I had the girl who is the #1 singles for Warren too. It was great seing them play at District this year, wow, they are great players and good people.Turly an unsung reward for a teacher.I am also in the AIr Force Reserve, so I do have a little fitness of course. 4 years ago I used to regularly play pickup doubles at Green Tree, got kind of expensive after awhile. I have a hopper, lots of balls, a few racquets, and a couple of bags to carry them. SInce I teach for Northside ISD, getting a court at the tennis center on 410 and Culebra should not be a problem. It is lit up at night like a Christmas tree, so nights are not a problem.
