One thing to take note is to always look for a racquet which is the perfect size grip for your hand - if it's too big or too small, it can lead to hand injuries. A tennis shop can help you with measuring the grip size and ultimately choosing the perfect racquet for you. Some tennis shops even have a "mini tryout area" or a "rent a test racquet" program in which you can rent a few test racquets in exchange for the store to hold on your credit card or some kind of identification.

In all honesty, try looking for a racquet within the 70 - 100 dollar price range. The strings (if you want/need to get new strings for your racquet) should be included in that price range.

I would like to play some tennis with you...but...you ARE a bit far...oh well...
