Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: I just moved to Virginia (Ashburn area) a couple of months ago and I am looking to start playing tennis again. I played my freshman year for Georgia State University but haven't played much tennis since then. I am a pilot for World Airways and am usually on the road for half of the month. I am married to a United Air Lines flight attendant. I turn 31 on January 24.

Some stats: 37 years old, married with 4-yr and 2-yr old boys. I need the usual permission to play after work and weekends, but most times are possible. Morning weekdays are even better as I can be home after work to help my wife with the kids.

It's great to have VA in the house! We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members. We launched Tennisopolis just two weeks ago, so you are a charter member. :-)

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, look thru the Groups or create a Local VA Group and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle. We will also promote your group so that it continues to grow. (I know that 3 or 4 VA folks joined Tennisopolis last night.) ;-)

Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
