Hi Bryce - I am not a tourney level player but am a 4.0 level player in Ashburn. Always looking to play especially during the day weekdays. You can email me at sunilsaxena2000@yahoo.com
Hi Bryce, I'm in Broadlands too. I used to play tournament level a long time ago, and just started getting back into things last fall after a 15 year layoff. I'm into drilling a lot, as I'd like to get somewhere near what I used to be. I'm probably 4.5 right now. Would you like to start hitting when the weather gets better? Maybe try hitting indoors at Herndon or Leesburg (Ida Lee) in the next couple weeks?
Some stats: 37 years old, married with 4-yr and 2-yr old boys. I need the usual permission to play after work and weekends, but most times are possible. Morning weekdays are even better as I can be home after work to help my wife with the kids.
I am looking for more people to play in the Silver Spring/Bethesda/DC area. Please let me know if you are game. I am not very good but I am looking to play some more.
It's great to have VA in the house! We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members. We launched Tennisopolis just two weeks ago, so you are a charter member. :-)
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, look thru the Groups or create a Local VA Group and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle. We will also promote your group so that it continues to grow. (I know that 3 or 4 VA folks joined Tennisopolis last night.) ;-)
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
To get started, you can personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
You can also:
- talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries
- join or start a group
