Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Have lived in the East Bay for 30 yrs, beginning as U.C., Berkeley graduate student Took up tennis more seriously in the course of trying to give my (now 13 y.o.) son a taste for it. I've never played competitively but my best guess is I'm 3.5. Am looking for more opportunities to practice. Also love film (hence the rare picture of me, in Park City: I'm usually the one behind the camera). Would love to network for weekend games in Berkeley/El Cerrito/N. Oakland.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Andy Roddick
Rafael Nadal
Williams sisters
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. It’s is a fantastic place to get tips for your game, chat about the latest gear, and especially, talk about the pros.
Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
