Hey Angie, I just started taking lessons after a long hiatus (since I was 10 : - )) If you still want a beginning practice partner, I'm around on weeknights and weekends, and prefer to get out there twice a week for an hour or two. Anywhere on the westside works (WW, WLA, CC, SM, etc.)
hi I live in the miracle mile area and am also looking to start hitting again. I'm not sure what my ranking is - played as a teenager. When are you available? And which courts do you play at? I played at beverly hills tennis the other day but I'm guessing that's pricey especially w/o membership.
Nice to meetu. I can have a crazy schedule w/ work sometimes but now i am trying to make sure to take sometime for me. When r u available to play tennis and what area is good for u ? Hollywood, west hollywood, miracle miles? i m pretty much open for saturdays, sundays morning, mondays mornings, tuesdays, wesnesdays morning, thursdays morning. I live on Larchmont and melrose. Let's practice asap i need to get back in shape an Let's have some fun!!!! :-)))
Saturday morning works better for me. I'm going to see Sex and the City on Friday. I like the courts at Plummer park in West Hollywood. It has also been ages for me, and I am fine with just volleying. Shall we say Saturday at 10am, or earlier or later, whatever works for you. Thanks, I'm excited. I've been wanting to play for a while now. -Karin
Hello Angie, I am not a great player, I'm looking to volley a little this weekend and maybe play a game if we feel up to it. Are you interested? I live in Hollywood, I know a couple places to go. let me know. Karin
Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.
You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
