Thank you, sir.  Since I started playing again (after a multi-decade hiatus), I'm only using wood racquets.  No power, but using wood forces you to hit properly; no shortcuts.  I don't plan on joining the modern tennis era with racquets or clothing; fortunately, ebay is quite helpful on both fronts.
