The new head tennis coach, Eric Toth, brought both men's and women's teams to the Indoor Tennis Club for a clay court practice while I was working one Saturday evening. I had never seen such a collection of talent and enthusiasm for the sport concentrated on one team. I wish them all the best! Doug Matthews parents, Eric and Toni, are both excellent tennis players and involved with the Indoor Club as well. Doug, XU's #1 singles player, can be seen fine tuning his game there with former touring pro, John Peckskamp.
