Can anyone suggest any courts in good shape downtown or in the North Shore?  I've had good luck at Gillson Park in Wilmette and looking for similar parks, or perhaps a high school.  I'd also be interested in places in other nearby surrounding communities (Oak Park, etc...)

I'm pretty tired of having to watch people fight over the rules regarding racqueting courts at Oz & Lake Shore and the Waveland Courts are in miserable shape.  Thanks.

Warner Park on Western Ave north of Devon has been recently been resurfaced. McFetridge outdoor courts on California between Irving and Addison have been recently resurfaced. The link below maps all the courts using Google Maps. The Maps are from 2010 and therefore are a good indication of court condition. If you find the map of courts helpful, please show your support by joining the collective. It's free.

Hey Paul,
I'm in Glenview and I live pretty close to some really nice courts that you might be interested in trying out. These courts are located in John's Park and a couple of months ago they were resurfaced with the U.S. Open colors so they're in stellar shape. There are 5 courts and on top of the fact that they just got resurfaced, they are lighted until 10:15 at night. It's quite nice living so close to these because over the summer I can hit with people past the normal daylight hours. Definitely consider these courts if you're looking for something different. I must say though it can get pretty crazy at night and if you try to hit then you might end up waiting.

Hope this helps!
