From the Baseline

Ever since before and during Wimbledon there has been talk of the now rarely seen tactic or serve and volley. Some people believe it is a thing of the past, that it is too outdated and some believe it will make a comeback. I would like to hear any opinions on the subject. I think that even with more and more players staying close to the baseline unwilling to risk their points on closing in on the net that if players, possibly those who play doubles, start showing courage in rushing to the net that there could be a comeback of a sorts of this type of play.
