There arent any unfortunately.
Are you a 3.5/4.0 NTRP? Perhaps we can hit together
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'm a 2.5-3.0 right now. Just getting back into it.
Buena High School and Camino Real Park have lights. The courts at Camino are nicer - not sure if it's still free (it used to be). I also found this web site: http://www.tennisround.com/tennis-courts/ca/ventura
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I've gone to both Buena and Camino Real Park at night on the weekends around 8pm and the lights don't work or are not on. Both have them, you're right, but they were not lit.
Camino real charges to use the lights, and its you have to find a guy. Its a real PITA. No other place has lights, I have been searching for almost 3 years. Camarillo is your best bet, they have tons of lit courts for free.
Thanks Dana, I appreciate it. I don't get Camino Real, looks like a nice place to play at night, too bad they don't have it together. Thanks for the recommendation for Camarillo. From my online research looks like it's the only place close to Ventura with free public lighted courts. Open till 9pm according to a Camarillo Park and Rec District employee I emailed yesterday.
It has been a struggle to find lighted courts for free anywhere though if you want to hit sometime in the evening I can get us on base where it is free I am about the same level as you are now and a bit out of it but would like to get back into playing again.
