Hey there,
It's rainy season here in Vancouver so there's little opportunity to play unless it's at an indoor court. Is anyone interested in hitting together and sharing the price for an indoor court? I'm free after 6pm everyday and also on the weekends. I'm an intermediate player and enjoy planning sets and rallying as well. Message me back if you're interested!
Cheers,
Orton

I'm interested. I think I'd fall into the intermediate player category.
I'm new to Vancouver and not sure how to get involved with tennis here. What's the price for an indoor court?
cheers,
Lindsay

I usually play casually with friends around the city if the weather is nice, but I know there are slightly more competitive groups around the city who meet up every weekly for doubles sets. I have yet to explore this area though.
At this rainy time of year an indoor court is around 20-22 dollars per hour. Expensive for sure, but I only play indoor probably 2-3 times per month--if there's a dry day, then playing outside is fine too.
If you'd interested in hitting for fun, let me know...I'm always up for it.
Cheers,

I'd be keen to get out and hit at least a little bit while it's cold. In which part of the city are you located? I'm in Dunbar. If you're interested, maybe we can try for Thursday 7:30? It'd be good to get out and hit a bit.
Let me know!
cheers,

7:30 on Thursday works for me. Are you alright with playing indoor? There's a few places that have lights outdoors until late, but the weather is still quite wet and chilly.
I live around Knight St. and 41st--not too far from Dunbar, and I'll also have a car as well. Indoor or outdoor I'll jot down 7:30 on Thursday on my schedule...
Talk to you soon!

Something came up at work today and Thursday probably won't work for me. Any interest in re-scheduling for the weekend? I'm flexible with indoor / outdoor. Indoor is fine, or if the weather is really nice we can also do out-doors. Looking forward to it! Hopefully this weekend!

Yeah, no problem at at all. Let's play it by ear...I'll leave you my number. I'll get in touch with you closer to the weekend. If we play indoor we'd have to book a court, so i'd be good to know half a day in advance.
Cheers,

Its cold and snow is on the ground so it's indoor tennis.
I just started UBC tennis clinic at level 2.0. I am interested in finding anyone to rally and practice what I learned. I want to go and do some rallying and generally keep the ball in play. So, if you have a bit of patience for a not total beginner. I am free this thursday 4 ish on.
Thanks,
