Tennis in NW DC anyone?

Hello there, just saw your post. There is actually a meetup.com group which will be meeting for tennis tomorrow (Saturday) over at the Cabin John Tennis courts near Montgomery Mall - will that be something you might be interested in?

Thanks William!  That sounds great.  I don't have a car but will see if it's possible to make it by metro.  Do you know of any similar tennis meet ups in DC?

In regards to transportation, I THINK there is public transportation to get there - tbh I've only been there once for this group's last meetup so I'm not 100% sure. However, an alternate solution for tomorrow only - would you like a ride to go there, and then ask the group leader that question regarding public transportation? Since White Flint Metro Station is the closest to that location, I can pick you up at an earlier time (8:00? 8:30?) and just bring you to the location, no problem. Just leave a message at my number (240) 643-8527 if you can/can't make it or something.

In regards to if there are similar meetups in DC, I am mostly not sure, since I usually play over at various courts from Gaithersburg to Greenbelt, have not played DC's courts yet. However, there is a meetup group for the DC/VA/MD area which may be of help to you:

They had a tennis social event over at College Park, MD a few months ago, and it was pretty well organized with a fair price. Something to look into. They do various tournaments/competitions as well if you're into that kind of thing. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for the offer.  It looks like there is public transportation there so I am going to look into that option.  If however it doesn't look plausible I'll give you a call.  Otherwise I hope to see you tomorrow on the courts!

hey , sorry I can't play tomorrow morning. I could play any time on Saturday or Sunday though and in the evenings during the week. let me know what you think about this weekend.
