Places and people
As you may know the DC group is very much active and fun! My question is where does everyone in the DC metro area go to hit? If we compile a list of all the popular places we can then meet more regularly, meet more people to hit with, and expand even further :)
I will start: I usually hit at Haines Point in SW, sometimes at the Dupont circle courts, or PG county near college park, and even quincy park.

This is a great idea for a thread. Thanks for posting this. There is also a place on your profile to put "your favorite local courts." So you can look at each member and see where they like to play. You can also search for the name of some local courts, like "dupont" for instance.

Many people to play with, lots of fun.
Are the courts in DC usually free? Seriously, it's seriously hard to get people to come to Olney, so am willing to come down and search for courts...
I wish certain people on this website would be more open to going...an extra 15 minutes distance wise or so to look for players...but I guess that might be wishful thinking... -

yea you post here all the time. Olney is a bit too far for me. there's plenty of free courts in DC.

MJ - we'll have to do that soon. However, I'm in three USTA leagues (Charles County, DC and Mixed Doubles).
AT least one of my teams is practicing Tues - Thurs.
League ends July 11th.
