Hey Fred,

Right now, I'm playing 3-4x a week in NoVA. This site doesn't seem have any of the active players in the robust NoVA tennis community but if you want to get out and play, there are several groups and socials that are playing now or coming up in April.

What type of game are you looking for? What level and how frequent?

I enjoy doubles mostly, women's or mixed. I am not quite ready for singles. Maybe closer to summer. At least once a week, possibly twice a week.

Arlington Co. VA has an all volunteer-run tennis association that holds spring/fall tournaments, a spring/fall mixed doubles league, and an April-October mixed doubles ladder. Check it out at www.actatennis.org. There is also a weekly social every Fri night at the Sport and Health that matches up doubles of all levels for a few hours of fun. You should be able to find their number on the Sport and Health website under Arlington Y. Do you have a rating?
