Currently, TVTA has drop-ins on Tues and Thurs at Dougherty HS. Since our members are widespread across Tri-Valley, I am considering the option to add other drop-ins locations for weekdays, Mon, Wed and even the weekend play in Danville (Osage), Pleasanton (Muirwood), Dublin (Emerald Glen) or Livermore (Robert). I will need a few facilitators on my behalf until the core groups are formed. Let me know what you think.

Works for me; hope it will work for others,
Rick, I was at the office later than usual and was not able to make it to Livermore. The traffic heading east from San Ramon is typically a very bad commute so it would be difficult for those of us to get there. I'm hoping a core group forms with members in the Livermore, East Dublin area but I will try to get out there occasionally.
I went as planned and was fortunate to connect w/ Tim Fritsch who was also there.  We rallied a while then played a set of singles which Tim won 6-4.  The courts were very busy by the time we left at 7PM with locals waiting to play; but at 5:30 only two of the courts were just getting started.  I hope others will be able to join us.
5-530p sounds like a good time to beat the crowd. I did a player search and found 8 of 13 TVTA members in Livermore. There are also a number of members in Dublin and Pleasanton. It will take a few weeks before new sites become established. I will try to get a few more members from my town to meet next Wednesday, however if the courts are crowded there, the flexibility of a drop-in may not work well since we cannot monopolize courts. It maybe where the first group of 4 players take a court. As others show up, the next group of 4 will have to wait in line for the next available court. Groups will play their time limit based on the posted city rules. If you want to play more, you will have to get back in line.
I am familiar and comfortable with that type of rotating format where everyone plays and everyone sits periodically; you get a lot of playing time and a lot of exposure to different players.  So even if we just used one court, I'm sure we could make it work.
