Wow, that sounds like fun.  However, I'm not sure us married guys with kids can swing that with the wife.

I'm sure things can be arranged. Bring the whole family or wife for a vacation. We could be roomies. I just thought it would be great if there was a hosting aspect, to experience the foreign culture etc.

Hey Dudley,

This week I am on vacation in Peru; and decided to participate last minute on this Senior International Tournament on Clay in one of the biggest local clubs.

Unfortunately I was the only one from the U.S.; majority were peruvian, chileans, brazilians and argentinians.

I lost yesterday on my 2nd match, it was a good expierence and definitely will be back next year better prepared.  The players are clay courters, a mix of previously national top players or people who took on the sport 5 or 10 years ago.

You get to play on clay, with umpire, ballboy and in some cases with expectators.

They have from over 35 to over 85 categories, singles and doubles.

Lots of fun, perhpaps some players may be interested in going there next year.
